About the Truck

Leche de Tigre is a food truck serving up fresh caught seafood, prepared in traditional Peruvian fashion!

What is Ceviche?

Ceviche is a seafood dish made from fresh raw fish, cured in citrus juices, and spiced with ají chili peppers or other seasonings including onions, salt, and cilantro. Originating in Perú, this health dish is becoming popular worldwide.

Wait, what's up with the name?

Leche de Tigre literally means "Milk of the Tiger." It is also the name for the citrus marinade that cures the raw fish in ceviche.

Leche de Tigre is made of lime juice, onions, chiles, salt, and pepper, as well as a little bit of fish juice.

In Perú, the marinade is often served as a small drink or shot, and is said to cure hangovers and invigorate the mind and body.
